Andrzej Sheptytsky, the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Poland, visited the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and met with students

The delegation from Poland visited Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, including remarkable professors: Deputy Director of the Józef Mieroszewski Dialogue Center, Dr. Łukasz Adamski, Assistant to the Deputy State Secretary, Ernest Malkiewicz; Director of the Polish Academy of Sciences Representation in Kyiv, Mateusz Białas; Head of the Political Department at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kyiv, Anna Kilan-Lipka; First Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kyiv, Jan Zdanowski; Professor at the University of Warsaw, Agnieszka Bieniek-Missala; Representative of the Centre for Eastern Studies at the University of Warsaw, Tadeusz Iwański; and Professor at the South-East Scientific Institute in Przemyśl, Stanisław Stempień.

The purpose of the visit was to develop cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian universities.The Polish delegation met with the KMA president,  deans of the KMA department and other representatives, who are involved in Ukrainian-Polish projects. After that Andrzej Sheptytsky met with KMA students and delivered a lecture on Poland's Prospects for Cooperation with Ukraine in Higher Education and Research". 

Once more, we witnessed a new step of the history of friendship between Ukrainians and Poles being written at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. On January 22 President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with students at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
