This program is a 3-week joint course offered by three leading universities in three countries:

Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine, Kyiv) - established in 1654 and widely recognized as the leading and most forward-looking university in Ukraine.
University of Tartu (Estonia, Tallinn) - established in 1632 and one of the most well-known and oldest universities in the Baltic Sea area;
St.Petersburg State University (Russia, St. Petersburg) - established in 1724 and listed as one of the leading universities in Russia;

Join the Summer Program at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy

The Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Summer School delivers a combination of a 4 hour daily study program in Ukrainian Language, History of Ukraine, Literature, and Current Political and Economic Events.

NaUKMA offers the following session in 2013

July 24 - August 21 + August 22-28 to visit Western Ukraine

Participants of the Ukrainian Study program will receive 4-6 credits upon successful completion, based on the number of selected hours.

KYIV-MOHYLA INTERNATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAMS

naukma BETWEEN THE EUROPEAN AND EURASIAN UNIONS: DETERMINANTS, ASPECTS AND CONSEQUENCES OF UKRAINE'S POST-SOVIET TRANSFORMATION

The course is oriented towards advanced under-graduate students (2nd year and above), although graduate, post-graduate, and doctoral-level students are also encouraged to apply.

The course focuses on political, economic and social issues, and is particularly suitable for students in the social sciences, humanities, and law, but open to all faculties.

The course combines in-class sessions (lectures and seminars, interactive presentations with discussion highly encouraged), a conference on Ukraine’s international relations, guest visits, joint discussions with local students, and tours to interesting sites in or around Kyiv.

After completion of the course, students will be issued NaUKMA transcripts.
